The library’s recording studio, with seating for five, is a space that allows current Union students, faculty, and staff the ability to make audio recordings. The studio is lined with sound-dampening acoustic treatment and contains professional audio equipment for the user to make high quality sound recordings. Possible uses for the studio include the recording of voice-overs, narrations, podcasts, and the digitizing of analog media. Although library assistance is available, the patron should have a basic working knowledge of audio equipment and editing software. Additionally, the patron must comply with copyright law.
The studio is available to all current Union students, faculty, and staff on a reservation only basis.
